Not sure how to use a rotary cutter? Not satisfied with your results?? Afraid of cutting yourself??? Bring yourself and your supplies to this class and you'll learn how to accurately and safely use and care for the greatest invention since the sewing machine!! This lecture and hands on class is the first step in creating a quilt.

Yellow Brick Road
Start on the road to quilting with this fast and fun quilt, the perfect project for first timers or a quick and easy quilt for the more experienced quilter! This class will take you all the way from cuttting your fabric to piecing your quilt top, machine quilting your quilt and finishing your binding.

Start to Finish Quilt Sampler
If you have never made a quilt, or need to brush up on your techniques, this is the class for you! We will start with a Log Cabin block, then move on to Four Patch, Flying Geese, Half-square triangles, Quarter-square triangles and applique (hand or machine). You will learn about sashing and borders, backing, machine quilting and binding. And don't panic... this is a manageable size quilt...approximately 27 x 36". Rotary cutting class is required.

Enjoy making this hand applique Autumn accent for your home...just the right size for the mantle or a shelf in any room. Using hand dyed wools, create a 6 x 12" White Lumina pumpkin with accents of bittersweet and a turkey. Finish with a twig stem and dimensional leaf.

The Civil War Love Letter Quilt
Come and sit awhile as we create this quilt "inspired by love and war." You can make as many or as few of the blocks offered in the book by Rosemary Youngs. Foundation piecing, hand piecing or machine piecing are options for creating the 6" blocks. The book includes 14 smaller projects for finishing the blocks or make all 121 blocks into a large quilt! If you have a variety of Civil War fabrics, this is a great way to use them!!

Neighborly Welcome
This 44 x 50" quilt is taken from Quilt Sampler magazine...and it is great!! If you like traditional blocks, and easy piecing, this is the project for you!! Frosted Friends
In this class you can either create a Table Topper or a Tree Skirt with cute appliqued snowmen. This is a fairly quick project to make as a gift for someone special or to keep for yourself! You will be using the sewing machine for most of the work.

Flower/Sail Boat Growth Chart
Come "grow' with us and learn the art of paper piecing in a fun and small project!! Make a growth chart for that new baby whether a grandchild or your own child. The paper piecing is quick and affterwards you can use the new techniques you learn on bigger projects. Make your own color way or kits will be available using the BEAUTIFUL twill tape by Moda.
