Sacagawea BOMLadies and Gentlemen, we are privileged and honored to have Moda Fabric Designer, Laurie Simpson in our store teaching the Spirit of Sacagawea. This will entail a trip through history involving 12 months of working on a beautiful quilt top including binding. Backing may be ordered separately. Believe me, there will be fun, food and laughter along this trail! Independence Trail will be used for our adventure, this is Laurie and Polly's newest line arriving shortly. Take a peek for yourself at Independence Trail Spirit of Sacagawea book is to be purchased upon registration, unless you already have the book or pattern. (I have a feeling Laurie will sign them for you!) Cost of each block will be: As Laurie's original design $15.00 per month As Leigh Ann's with sashing $19.75 per month Laurie will be teaching machine piecing and hand applique whereas Leigh Ann will be teaching machine applique. The cost of our tour guides will be our standard class fees of $5.00 per hour, the first session will be 6:30-9:30 on October 9, 2012. It will follow monthly on the second Tuesday of every month. Those who need supplies from Laurie’s list will be given a 10% discount on these notions at Lake Street Mercantile.
