Thimbleberries Quilt

LODGE AND LAKESIDE

Welcome to the Lodge/Lakeside 2008 Thimbleberries Club. This year the Club is NOT a block of the month project. It is organized as a yearlong Club with an assortment of projects for each month’s meetings. The Big Club Quilt measures 94x104”…and you may select the ‘color-way’ of your choice – Lodge, made with warm autumn/winter tones, or Lakeside, made with brighter spring/summer tones. The quilts are identical except for the colors of the fabrics. You must let us know which quilt you want to make…Lodge or Lakeside, so we can cut the appropriate number of each kit. At each meeting, you will receive the Big Club Quilt Instructions for that month, Thimbleberries Club Newsletter, Exclusive Extra Club Project.
Perfect for the *novice/beginner quilter (*must take rotary cutting class)

Meets on the last Tuesday of the month from 6-8 pm.The dates include Tuesday April 29, May 27, June 24, July 29, August 26, September 30, October 28, November 25, December 30, and January 27, 2009.
$15 per quarter plus supplies.

You are invited to step back in time to join an older fashioned gathering at the Mercantile. Jo Morton, designer of small, antique looking quilts and needful things, has put together a six month club that gathers once a month to piece or appliqué a small project. Each month you will receive a pattern with complete instructions through quilting suggestions and binding. Fat quarters of Jo Morton fabrics are used for the blocks – scrappy is the theme! So, set aside two hours a month and travel back in time to when life was less hectic! If you would like to work on your project during class, bring your machine etc.
Beginner level
Second Tuesday of each month except January- which meets the third Tuesday, January 15, then February 12, March 11 etc. 6-8PM   $15/MONTH plus supplies.
